summer's been @ a pretty meh level.
somewhat mediocre.
been hanging out with family & friends & new people, so thats good
havent gotten a job.
ive applied to a pinkberry, 2 coldstones, a juice-it-up, a random no name juice place, and i wimped out of applying to a Sees & an Anchor Blue. *shrugs.
I also had the opportunity to apply at a post office, but i have to pay 130$ to study for a test i need to take in order to get the job. so uh. no thanks.
my plans to go to GCC for summer classes have failed
my plans to have a book club have failed.
my plans to complete community service on time, did *not* fail ! =]
suffered thru Urban Plunge. kept a journal, but am too lazy to transcribe it to the internet. =\
blehk. either way. 10 other classmates, 2 adult/teacher supervisors. hot. manual labor. early mornings. lots of homeless people. sleeping in "cots." eating slop. just plain blehk. meh
Also, worked at Loaves&Fishes in glendale. a food shelter. lots of homeless there too ! ohjoy >.>;
blehk. 5 days there. *shrugs.
whatev.
went to Riverside today with gari, nikki, & vince to help gari pack his stuff to move out of his apartment. little hiccup when we didnt know where the key to the storage was, so that was a flop.
had lunch at a local UCR sandwich place i ate at last time i was there.
good stuff.
another hour car ride home *sigh.
ran errands in montrose have been home ever since.
TODAY WAS NATIONAL CHEESECAKE DAY @ CHEESECAKE FACTORY
they were selling cheesecake at 1.50$/slice.
im missing out. i didnt even go. *slisswriss.

at any rate. Ethan's here. that hyper little kid. at least theres someone here at the house during the day time now lol. wee.
